I'm the author and illustrator of the New York Times bestselling middle grade series, FRAZZLED.
I have been doodling somewhat seriously since 2011 and not-so-seriously since childhood.
I grew up in Southern California and graduated from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). I've taught middle school English abroad, fallen off a ladder during a very brief stint as a bookseller, and worked as a book minion in children's publishing. Now I write books for kids!
The FRAZZLED series is about a girl named Abbie Wu who is always freaking out—especially now that she's in middle school! Heavily illustrated and embarrassingly honest, the books dive into Abbie's head as she tries to figure out who she is, where she belongs, and how to survive the everyday disasters of growing up.
